SOUTH EL PASO — One man is arrested and charged with possession of marijuana over 2 ounces and under 4 ounces after a traffic stop.
An officer stopped Jose Gonzalez Tuesday in the 400 block of De Vargas Dr.
He was initially pulled over for not wearing a seat belt.
The officer smelled marijuana coming from inside the vehicle and further investigation revealed that Gonzalez was in possession of marijuana.
Officers found 5 individually wrapped baggies of marijuana.
Gonzalez was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a bond of $750.
