Change of responsibility ceremony held at Fort Bliss

FORT BLISS — A special ceremony was held Wednesday at Fort Bliss to introduce the new Garrison Command Sergeant Major.

The change of responsibility ceremony was held so Sergeant Major Michael Barnes could assume the position of Interim Garrison Command Sergeant Major that was held by CSM Pandy for about two years.

Barnes previously worked at the Directorate of Emergency Services.

He tells us he is excited for his new role.

The ceremony was conducted by Team Bliss and Garrison Commander, Colonel Brant Dayley.
