EL PASO — Jury selection started Friday for a man accused of killing his wife in 2011. Forty-two-year-old Brian Engleton spoke to KTSM as he was escorted to jail back on June 17, 2011.
"They sat around and did nothing and let her perpetrate things against me," said Engleton. "I just want to say her mom, her sister, friend, Carol, the guy she was having an affair with; all of them are responsible for this," he added.
When asked by the news crew about expectations, he said "I'll see whatever the court says".
Engleton is accused of killing his wife, Diedre Engleton in June of 2011 at a beauty salon in Northeast El Paso where she worked. Engleton's trial could begin as early as Monday.
