El Paso, TX — Police identified the victim of a deadly pedestrian accident Wednesday night, after they said she was hit by a car at the intersection of Tierra Este and Tierra Limpia.
A woman driving down Tierra Este hit Judith Yeager, 47, was crossing a part of the street that was not marked with a crosswalk.
“The female was crossing Tierre Este. We don’t know yet in which direction, but she was crossing Tierra Este when she was struck by a Saturn that was being driven southbound on Tierra Este by a Hispanic female. The driver in the vehicle remained at the scene. The pedestrian was transported to Del Sol where she was pronounced dead,” said El Paso Police Spokesperon Chris Mears.
At this time, speed and alcohol do not appear to be factors in this crash, police said. No charges have been filed.
