EL PASO — Reading is not apparently El Paso's strong suit.
That's according to a study by Central Connecticut State University.
They ranked El Paso the fourth most illiterate city in the country.
The rankings are based on newspaper circulation, percentage of adults with a college degree, median income, and the number of bookstores per 10-thousand people, in which El Paso had the least.
The most illiterate city ranked was Bakersfield, Calif.
The most literate was Washington, D.C.
