A wanted man from Mexico was arrested early this morning by The United States Marshals Service.
Since, 2011, Mexican authorities have been looking for 46-year old, Victor De La Torre-Rodriguez. He was arrested without hesitation in the 5600 block of Rosa.
De La Torre has been living in the United States as a legal permanent resident. The underlying charge for the provisional arrest warrant is homicide.
The Mexican government alleges that De La Torre shot and killed an individual in Juarez on August 26, 2006.
De La Torre will remain in federal custody until the federal courts decide whether he should be returned to Mexico. This process generally takes 6 to 12 months.
