LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A commission charged with detailing the reason the Dona Ana Community College nursing program lost accreditation completed a report released Thursday.
In the report, the commission states the program has struggled with a high turnover rate of employees.
The commission reported the college sometimes lost candidates due to a lack of positions and a complicated process when it comes to making offers.
The report also detailed issues with evaluating faculty annually.
The commission recommends hiring two to three new faculty member before being evaluated for accreditation.
