District of Columbia to sell liquor on Sundays

WASHINGTON, D.C. — The nation's capitol will soon start allowing liquor sales on Sundays.  The mayor signed legislation that'll allow liquor stores to apply to be open on Sundays. D.C. will join 37 other states that already allow Sunday sales, including neighboring Virginia and Maryland.  Liquor stores will first have to first go through an approval process.
