EL PASO — Residents in two different parts of El Paso are invited to community meetings scheduled to discuss construction coming to their neighborhood.
The first involves the concept/design stage of street improvements for Van Buren and Monroe streets, from Dyer to the Dead End West of Piedras. Street improvements consist of new pavement, sidewalk, curb, gutter, and landscaping. Van Buren and Monroe will be converted to two-way streets in an effort to improve the traffic flow in that area. A presentation will be made at this community meeting to highlight the concept plan and show the design. All interested individuals are encouraged to attend. The meeting is set for January 16, at 6:00 P.M at the Grandview Senior Center
located at 3134 Jefferson Ave.
