Description
The Greater El Paso Chamber of Commerce will host the second annual Adventure for Your Future, for sixth and seventh grade students and their parent on Saturday, January 26, 2013 from 9:00AM-3:00PM. The event is designed to increase exposure and build excitement about the health science field while providing valuable information on how to prepare for college.

Workshops include “Who Am I?” Health Professions Panel, Healthy Heart Anatomy, Avoiding the Cheese Touch, Who Dunnit?, The capABILITIES of your body, Virtual Knee Surgery, Supporting Science Wonder at Home, Why Wait? Start your health science degree in high school!, and a tour of the Center for Advanced Teaching and Assessment in Clinical Simulation. The event is free and open to the public.
