LAS CRUCES — New Mexico State University has hired a search firm to help them find a new president.
The Association of Governing Boards of Colleges and Universities will be paid $90,000 to find a replacement for Barabara Couture who stepped down in October.
This, despite several concerns that were raised during public listening sessions about hiring a search firm.
NMSU is hoping to select a new president by May.
