EL PASO TX — A Socorro Police Spokesperson confirms one person is dead after an accident at Horizon and Gateway East. The accident happened shortly after 9 Monday.
David Garcia of Socorro says a man who was driving a late model Chevy pickup truck failed to brake in time and went under the 18-wheeler.
Police say speed was a contributing factor.
