CT shooter's body claimed by father, funeral arrangements kept private

NEWTOWN, CT — The body of Adam Lanza, the Sandy Hook school-shooter has been claimed and taken for burial.

A spokesman for Peter Lanza, the father of 20-year old Adam Lanza, confirmed that the elder Lanza claimed his son's body and it is at an undisclosed funeral home.

All details regarding funeral arrangements are being kept private. A private funeral for Adam Lanza's mother, whom police say he also killed before the school rampage, was held earlier this month.
