Movie-goers braved the cold weather to stand in line and buy tickets at a Cinemark Theatre in West El Paso. They packed the theatre to catch a movie with loved ones. For many, it's part of their Christmas festivities each year -- something the whole family comes out to celebrate.
"It's been a long standing tradition for us to go to the movies either on Christmas Eve or on Christmas Day," said Jeff Steed.
Rima Assi said, "It's a family tradition, we come every Christmas Day with the family. There's 15 of us here today."
Many came for the premiere of "Les Miserables," a broadway spectacle, now film adaptation of French poet and playwright, Victor Hugo's historical novel.
