More than 5,000 El Paso electric customers were without power this morning,
according to the company's website.
The power went out in two Westside neighborhoods a little before 3am near the Montoya Heights area.
In one neighborhood almost 4,000 customers were without power and in another about 1,200 customers were left in the dark.
Luckily, the power was restored within about an hour, before most people had even woken up.
