EL PASO — Two men allegedly jumped 17 feet from an overpass to get away from police officers.
Officers went to East Missouri Avenue and Marr Street after hearing someone was shooting a gun at 3 a.m. Saturday.
Police said two men jumped into a pickup truck and tried to get away.
The truck hit a barricade on US 54.
Police said the men then got out of the truck and jumped from the US 54/Loop 375 overpass. They were taken to the hospital for their injuries.
Police said the men were in possession of two handguns, marijuana and cocaine.
