The number of people applying for jobless benefits fell last week.
According to the Labor Department, applications of unemployment benefits fell by 25,000 to a seasonally adjusted 370,000.
Applications peaked last month after Hurricane Sandy slammed into the northeast, jumping to 451,000 in the week ending Nov. 10.
Before the storm, the number ranged from 360 to 390,000.
Most economists expect the unemployment rate to remain at 7.9 percent, when november job numbers are released.
