EL PASO — Former El Paso Mayor Ray Salazar faced a big blow in his efforts to save City Hall.
A federal judge dismissed a lawsuit brought forward by Salazar and two other plantiffs.
The group wanted Judge David Guaderrama to delay the demolition of City Hall to make way for a Triple A baseball stadium. The suit requested for the item to be put on the ballot in the general election in May.
Guaderrama dismissed the lawsuit without prejudice, meaning, the group can still refile the case.
The judge ruled that the case was not a legal matter that needed to be ruled on.
Salazar tells News Channel 9 that another group is planning to file another lawsuit.
