EL PASO — Sierra Medical Center re-opened Thursday following a fire at the hospital Wednesday.
A fire started in the electrial room. The hospital had to evactuate patients in the ER, ICU and first and second floors.
Officials from Sierra said power was restored to the hospital at 2:30 Friday morning and reopened at noon.
It's still unclear exactly how many patients were evacuated.
