EL PASO — Millions of people are expected to hit the road for the Thanksgiving holiday, and the Texas Department of Transportation has some tips to make sure travelers arrive safely.
According to TXDOT officials, the day before Thanksgiving, and the Sunday after, are the busiest travel days.
Travelers can expect crowded airports, as well as heavy traffic on highways and interstates.
Here are some travel tips to stay safe:
