Mexican authorities arrested two dozen alleged members of the Zetas drug gang who are accused of killing a dozen people and kidnapping 16 victims.
Authorities presented the suspects on Monday.
The suspects were captured in a number of police operations in and around the city of Monterrey.
They are accused of working as hit men for the cartel.
Drugs weapons and vehicles were seized from the suspects.
The Zetas were founded by former soldiers who initially worked as extortionists and graduated to drug trafficking.
