EL PASO — The El Paso Independent School District needed the public's help un hiring two new principals.
One position was open at Bowie High School, the other at Irvin. Bowie principal Jesus Chavez was ousted from his job in April after he admitted to playing a role in the district's cheating scandal.
EPISD officials are planning several community meetings over the next couple of weeks to get input from the community on what they want to see in the next principal.
The first of those meetings will take place Tuesday, Nov. 27 in the Bowie High School library. The community meeting for Irvin was scheduled for Thursday, Nov. 29 at 5:30 in the cafeteria.
