Vinton residents had their chance to ask State Representative Dee Margo questions about how he'll help them, but residents were more focused on their budget, sewer and water problems.
About 40 people came to the meeting and a majority of them took the time to write questions for the representative on pieces of paper.
Most of them were about what they called the "Vinton problem" referring to the city's water and sewer problem, as well as their lack of ability to pass a budget.
"This is an example of working as a team instead of individually," said Vinton Mayor Madeline Praino. "I feel that that's something that's been lacking not only here but also in El Paso".
Representative Margo said he was gratified by the attendance and was glad to hear what issues are concerning them.
