Businesses across the country reported receiving fraudulent emails along with a questionnaire.
According to the Better Business Bureau, the phishing email is being sent from multiple email addresses with the subject line "BBB SBQ Form #" followed by a nine-digit number and "reference number."
If you receive a suspicious email, officials advise not to click on any links or reply to the message. It is recommended to delete the e-mail and run a full virus scan on your computer if you did click on any links.
