Schools are the prime breeding grounds for spreading the flu, according to a local non-profit group whose mission is to combat the virus.
More than 200,000 people end up hospitalized due to flu complications and about 36 people die each year from the flu.
Immunize El Paso, a non-profit organization in town, wants to remind everyone if you haven't gotten your flu shot you can go to one of their two locations.
