El Paso — A fallen El Paso police officer will be laid to rest on Friday. 29 year-old Jonathon Molina passed away late last week from injuries he sustained on September 25th when he was allegedly attacked by a 17 year-old. Molina was a four year veteran of the police department. Visitation will take place Thursday night at Martin funeral Home on Montana Avenue from five to nine p.m.
The funeral mass will happen Friday at 12:30 p.m. at Saint Patrick's Cathedral. Molina will be buried at Fort Bliss National Cemetery following the mass. 17 year-old Juan Antonio Gonzalez now faces capital murder charges. His bond is set at five million dollars.
