EL PASO, TX — On Saturday some El Pasoans learned about the history of the Sunset Heights neighborhood. The El Paso County Historical Society along with the Tom Lea Institute and the Sunset Heights Neighborhood Association held it's 10th annual tour of homes. The tour is held to show off homes in the historic part of El Paso. All funds raised from the tour go to a good cause. Leah Osborne, the Sunset Heights Neighborhood Association President, says the organization uses the funds to work with families and homeowners in the area, along with the City of El Paso of the Historic Preservation to offer homeowners free assistance. The organization has been able to provide homeowners with things like new sidewalks, landscaping, roofs and patios.
