EL PASO — Police arrested a man suspected in a hit and run collision involving an El Paso Police officer who was riding a bicycle in East El Paso.
The accident happened around 8:30 p.m. Thursday on Joe Battle Blvd. and Edgemere.
According to police, the driver hit the officer then fled the scene, but was later arrested.
The officer's condition is unknown.
