El Paso — The El Paso Independent School District isn't doing enough to help a disabled student. That's according to Disability Rights Texas which has filed a complaint against the district. DRT alleges that a 13 year old student was repeatedly suspended and punished for having a mental illness and behavioral disabilities. The 7th grader has Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder and Bipolar Disorder. We were unable to reach EPISD for a response to the allegations.
