EL PASO — "Movies in the Canyon" will now begin at dusk, arounf 7:30 p.m. beginning in October.
The weekly Friday and Saturday events feature family-friendly films at the McKelligon Canyon Amphitheatre for free on a giant, state-of-the-art movie screen, event organizers said.
Movie-goers are encouraged to bring a blanket or light jacket in case it cools off in the Canyon. Visitors may purchase popcorn, soft drinks and movie snacks at the concession stand since no outside food or beverages are allowed. The McKelligon Canyon complex also offers plenty of free parking.
