Tucson, AZ — Former Congresswoman Gabrielle Giffords has moved back home to Arizona -- 19 months after she was shot at a meet-and-greet in Tucson.
This is the new home county records show Giffords and her husband, retired astronaut Mark Kelly, bought in June.
Kelly posted on his Twitter account that Giffords was moving back to Tucson Sunday.
She spent most of the past 19 months recovering at medical facilities in Houston from a gunshot wound to the head.
Giffords was one of 13 people injured in the shooting back in January 2011.
Six others were killed.
On Tuesday, 23-year-old Jared Lee Loughner pleaded guilty to 19 charges related to the incident.
