EL PASO - El Pasoans gather downtown to celebrate gay pride.
At the Fifth Annual Pride Parade, where the rainbow flag waved proudly.
County Judge Veronica Escobar served as the parade's grand marshal.
Organizers took the opportunity to set the record straight on homosexuality.
"It's just to celebrate unity and bringing people together. It's now just for gays, it's for everyone. It's acceptance and making sure everybody gets along and understands we're all human," Victoria Ortegon said.
Today marks day four of five in El Paso Sun City Pride.
Tomorrow the celebrations will take place at Wet-N-wild Waterworld.
