Car Shot at Twice After Argument
LAS CRUCES, N.M. — Las Cruces police are investigating a shooting that damaged at least one vehicle.
Police say the shooting happened Tuesday evening before 7:00 P.M.
LCPD were called to the 700 block of S. Espina St., near Valley View Park, where the shooting happened.
Police say that two groups of men were involved in a fight when of them--whom police say was a black male-- pulled out a .45 caliber handgun and started firing at the other group while they drove away.
Police say the man fired at least 5 to 6 rounds at the car.
The vehicle was hit by two rounds.
No injuries were reported as a result of the gunfire.
