High school students sought to work with City government leaders
The El Paso Youth Council (EPYC) is currently seeking new members for
the upcoming school year. EPYC is an organization of high school
students from throughout the area, mentored by City of El Paso
employees, that meet on a regular basis throughout the school year to
learn more about how City government works. EPYC members get to
meet Mayor John Cook, City Manager Joyce Wilson, City Council
Members, Department Heads and many other City employees that make
El Paso a great place to live and work.
BEING A MEMBER OF EPYC WILL ALLOW STUDENTS TO
• Learn leadership skills
• Meet teens from around the city
• Gain experience for college and life
• Become a voice for El Paso’s teens
• Influence decisions that impact youth
EPYC is open to all High School Students with a C average or above.
