Your Next Vacation Could Be a Trip to Outer Space

Las Cruces, NM. - You may soon be able to book a flight into space, simply by calling your local travel agent. Virgin galactic is the world's first commercial spaceline and this October the company will bring 75 travel agents to southern New Mexico to promote tourist space travel. All of the agents were hand picked by Virgin Galactic because they specialize in luxury high end travel. The company recently opened an office in Las Cruces to help support its growing operations team at Spaceport America. Officials say this fall's forum will pump thousands of dollars into the local economy.
