YISD Substitute Teacher Accused of Possessing Child Pornography

An Ysleta Independent School District substitute teacher is in jail with no bond. Alejandro Fierro is being accused of possessing child pornography.FBI agents say they found child pornography in his e-mail accounts, CD-ROM, VHS tapes and even floppy disks.

Ferro said that he mainly worked at elementary schools and occasionally he substituted at middle schools.
However, this isn't making parents that have children in the Ysleta School District feel any better. They say they feel powerless.

YISD says that Fierro is no longer on the list of substitute teachers and that he hasn't been since April 14th of this year. The district spokesperson also told us that they do background checks on all of their employees.
