A wounded Marine says he was mistreated by TSA agents at the Phoenix airport.
The Marine, a double amputee, was with a group of Wounded Warriors visiting Phoenix to watch spring training baseball games.
When they were headed back home, a TSA agent made the wheelchair-bound Marine remove both prosthetic legs for screening.
A representative from the group said it was a humiliating experience for the 22-year-old who lost both legs serving in Afghanistan.
Jim Phillips, the Marine's airport escort, said, "He cannot stand up by himself. And I tried to explain that and they didn't want to hear it and then I said, 'Man I'm sorry that has to happen to you.' And he just goes, get me the 'eff' out of here."
The TSA told CNN that they work to treat Wounded Warriors with dignity and respect.
They also said they plan to expand their guidelines to make the process more simple in the future for wounded veterans.
