Women Caught in Elaborate Drug Smuggling Scheme

Wednesday, October 10, 2012 - 8:21pm

Two Albuquerque women got caught trying to sneak 124 pounds of marijuana into the United States at the Presidio Port of Entry. That's according to Customs and Border Protection which made the bust on Saturday and provided photos. The drugs were hidden inside metal collars that were attached to the rims of the women's Chevy Tahoe. 29 year-old Christina Layne and 20 year old Chrystal Robal are now facing federal drug charges.
