Woman Injured in Early Morning Hit and Run Crash

EL PASO — Police shut down a portion of Gateway North in Northeast El Paso for several hours following an early morning hit and run crash.

The wreck happened on Gateway North and McCombs shortly after 3:00 a.m. Thursday.

According to El Paso Police, a vehicle rear-ended a woman's car, sending the woman to the hospital.

Police said that the driver who allegedly caused the crash fled the scene.

The area of Gateway North and McCombs is now open.
