El Paso, TX — A woman is recovering in the hospital Friday morning after she hit a parked vehicle near Kern Place.
Police suspect the woman may have been drinking. The parked Honda CR-V on Stanton and University zoomed across the intersection. No one was in the Honda at the time, we did speak with the woman who owns the vehicle around 5 AM. She declined an on-camera interview but tells us she'll have the vehicle towed and she is fine.
Police say this crash happened after 12:30 Friday morning. Our photographer spoke with police off-camera early Friday and they say they've arrested numerous people in the span of a little more than 24 hours.
Officials are urging those who will be continuing to celebrate the holidays to designate a driver or call a taxi.
