We know more tonight about a deadly crash near Chaparral.
As we told you last night one person was killed, another hospitalized after an accident on Highway 54.
New Mexico State Police say two women were driving to El Paso from Ruidoso.
One of the women pulled over and died when she got out of her car and was hit by a man driving a car.
Name of the victim is not being released.
