El Paso, TX (KDBC) — Texas Democratic gubernatorial candidate Wendy Davis has announced a campaign stop in El Paso on Friday, November 1st. The campaign stop was announced mere hours after a court ruled key parts of Texas' Abortion ban unconstitutional.
Davis will meet with her supporters and those who wish to volunteer for her campaign on Friday, November 1st at 5:00 p.m. at the El Paso Community College Administrative offices 9050 Viscount Blvd., the event is open to the public.
Davis, who was catapulted into statewide and national spotlight after her 13-hour filibuster to attempt to stop Texas' strict abortion laws announced her candidacy for Governor in early October. Davis plans to spend two days in El Paso meeting with key constituents, including veterans, educators, grassroots organizers and campaign volunteers.
