LAS CRUCES - Be warned: if you live in Las Cruces, east of Telshor between Missouri and Northrise, your tap water is about to look a little strange.
Tomorrow at 10 p.m., the city's water utilities company will begin testing the flow of a water hydrant. The company said water coming into homes may be discolored for a short time, but that it should be back to normal in 24 hours.
Until then, you may want to stock up on bottled drinking water, and wait about a day to wash your clothes.
