Security experts say tax filing season creates a perfect storm for cyberschemes. They're warning people to be on the lookout for fraudulent tax-themed messages that appear to be from the IRS or online tax prep programs, but are actually scams.
Cybercrooks could use the information you put in those e-mails to get your personal data or seize control of your computer files. The IRS says it never uses e-mail to request personal or financial information.
