Wanted man captured in Northeast El Paso

A wanted felon was captured by El Paso County Sheriff's Deputies Thursday in Northeast El Paso. 39-year-old Jesse Williams was wanted for three outstanding felony warrants including Possession of Marijuana, Illegal barter/invest expense of Marijuana, and evading arrest or detention.

EPCSO Warrants Deputies were able to track Williams to a home in the 4900 block of Aiken in northeast El Paso Thursday. The U.S. Marshals Lone Star Fugitive Task Force was called in to assist in Wiliams' apprehension.

Both EPCSO and the U.S. Marshals arrived at the home and were initially unable to make contact with anyone. Eventually, Williams opened the front door and was taken into custody without incident.

Williams was booked into the El Paso County Detention Facility on a $220,000 bond.
