VINTON, TX — A Canutillo man who was killed in a crash Sunday morning was identified as 22-year-old Andrew Fike, police said.
Fike was driving a pickup truck heading east on Vinton near South Desert when he collided on the intersection with an oncoming car. Fike, who was not wearing a seatbelt, died at the scene after his truck rolled onto it's side, according to investigators.
The driver of the other vehicle was taken to a nearby hospital but reported no injuries. No
charges are pending in this case. At this time investigators have determined that
alcohol was not a factor on the other driver however it may be a factor on Fike.
