Veterans recognized at MountainView Regional Medical Center

They served proudly and were honored at MountainView Regional Medical Center for their sacrifices.

Veterans from all branches of the military were celebrated at a reception at the hospital and received pins as a small token of appreciation for their service to our country.

"It's been 20 plus years since I joined the military in 1986 and today to be recognized by something you've done is pretty honorable," said Calvin Mays, a recipient of three bronze stars.

Mountainview CEO Denten Park said they are fortunate to have veterans on their staff who are highly skilled and devoted to their work.

White Sands Missile Range Commanding General Gwen Bingham was on hand to personally thank the veterans as well.
