SANTA TERESA, NM — Residents in Santa Teresa and the Upper Valley were without electricity early Wednesday morning because of an early morning car accident.
According to the Doña Ana County Sheriff's Department, a vehicle crashed into a light pole on Airport Rd. and McNutt near Santa Teresa High School.
Deputies did not say if the driver was injured.
El Paso Electric crews restored power to the majority of the area by 5:00a.m., but crews remained on the scene for several hours repairing the damaged power pole.
