LAS CRUCES, N.M. — A vehicle shortage at La Frontera forced officials to find other methods of transporting patients Wednesday morning.
La Frontera, formerly Southwest Counseling Center, had been using vehicles from Southwest but did not have the proper agreements to do so, according to La Frontera officials.
La Frontera said they rented several vehicles at Hertz and had employees use their own vehicles and would compensate them for the mileage.
They said an agreement is being processed between the two companies.
