UTEP's movies on the lawn is cancelled tonight

The University of Texas at El Paso was forced to cancel  "Movies on the Lawn" Friday.

The season was scheduled to kick off Friday, June 7 at 8:30 p.m. on Glory Field, but was cancelled because of rain.

The kick-off will now be next Friday, June 14. The movie line-up will continue as scheduled.

The eight-week movie series will include:
The Game Plan (June 14/University Field)
Despicable Me (June 21/Glory Field)
National Treasure (July 5/Glory Field)
Wreck-It Ralph (July 12/University Field)
Harry and the Hendersons (July 19/Glory Field)
Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory (July 26/University Field)
Brave (Aug. 2/Glory Field).
